Working with HomeHand
HomeHand provides organizing and downsizing, ongoing home help, and Home Watch in Lake Oswego, West Linn, and Stafford, Oregon. We agree the work with you before it begins. Sending a website inquiry starts a conversation; it does not book a visit or commit you to a partnership.
Your scope and price
Your written quote or service agreement defines the spaces, tasks, schedule, included time, price, and any hosted record access. Website prices are starting points for that conversation. Additional projects are quoted separately. Contractor bills are passed through at cost, without a HomeHand markup; our coordination fees or included coordination are agreed separately.
Your decisions and permissions
The homeowner’s priorities come first. Before work begins, we agree who can authorize work, spending, donations, or disposal and who can receive records. A family member can help arrange a project, but a partnership does not give us open-ended authority to spend or make household decisions. Items awaiting a decision are set aside.
Access and Home Watch
We agree access methods, permitted areas, key or code handling, contacts, and approval arrangements before a visit. Home Watch records observations from agreed visits, with photographs and a written update. It is not a security guarantee, an emergency response service, or a comprehensive home inspection. HomeHand provides practical household help, not medical or personal care.
Scheduling, changes, and cancellation
Your service agreement sets business hours, response commitments, visit arrangements, cancellation or pause terms, and backup arrangements. We discuss these before you commit. Contact Adam to discuss a change; a website inquiry on its own does not change an existing booking or agreement.
Your records and online access
You retain ownership of your photos and inventory. You keep your agreed delivered inventory and export without a subscription. Downloaded handover files are separate from hosted portal access: the included online access period and any continuing access are stated in your quote or agreement, not promised indefinitely. Inventory Care is optional upkeep for later changes, not a fee to retrieve your agreed deliverable or correct an error in our delivered work.
Inventory permissions and estimates
Only share information and photographs you have permission to provide. HomeHand uses the limited permission needed to store and process them to deliver the agreed records. AI-generated and market-derived values are estimates, not appraisals. HomeHand is not a licensed appraiser, insurer, or financial advisor.
Existing inventory-app accounts
The separate consumer inventory app has its own account and subscription arrangements. Those arrangements do not set the price or hosted-access period for a household service project.
Read the existing inventory-app policy
New consumer app accounts get a 14-day trial for adding items. After the trial, existing items remain viewable and exportable; continuing to add items requires Plus. This is not a promise of indefinite hosted access for a service project.
You retain rights to your photos and inventory and grant only the permission needed to store and process them for the service. Use the app only for lawful inventories of property you have the right to catalog; do not upload content you do not have permission to store. The app is offered in the United States on an as-is basis as it is improved.
