Plain-language summary. This page describes how HomeHand works today. Final binding wording remains under counsel review.
Website inquiries
When you submit a request, we store your name, contact details, service area, and message in our client inquiry system so Adam can respond. A notification is sent to our team by email. Our hosting and email providers process this information to operate the service. We use temporary abuse-prevention records to limit spam. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to marketing messages or book a visit. Please do not include access codes or sensitive household records. To ask about or request deletion of an inquiry, email hello@homehandpro.com.
Website technology
This website uses self-hosted fonts and does not include marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics. Our hosting provider may process technical request information to serve and operate the website.
Household service records
For an agreed project, partnership, or Home Watch visit, records may include the work requested, agreed permissions, photographs, inventory locations, visit observations, and follow-up actions. We agree who may receive those records and which family members are authorized to access them. Routine letters and updates can be sent without a portal login. Please arrange access information directly with Adam rather than including keys or codes in a website inquiry.
Your inventory is private
Your photos and the inventory built from them belong to you. Household records are shared with the people you authorize and HomeHand team members who need them for the agreed work. Consumer app access is managed through your account and household invitations. We do not make your inventory public.
We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or inventory with advertisers or data brokers. This applies to both website inquiries and household records.
How AI cataloging works
To name, describe, and value your items, your photos are processed by AI vision models through our cataloging engine. Images are sent for processing solely to build your inventory — never to train third-party advertising models. Location metadata is stripped from photos on upload. The specific AI providers are named under Sub-processors below.
Sub-processors we use
We rely on a small set of vetted service providers (“sub-processors”) to run HomeHand. They process your data only to provide the service to you, under their own security and privacy commitments:
- AI cataloging — Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google (Gemini). Your photos are sent to one or more of these AI vision providers to generate item names, descriptions, and values; they process images to return results to us and do not use your photos to train advertising models.
- Photo & file storage — Cloudflare R2.
- Hosting & database — Railway (application hosting and managed PostgreSQL).
- Payments — Stripe (card processing for paid plans; we never store your card number).
- Email — our transactional email provider, for website inquiry notifications, sign-in links, and account notices.
This list may change as the product evolves; the counsel-reviewed policy will keep it current.
Export and deletion
For service projects, you keep the agreed delivered inventory and export without a subscription; hosted access is defined in your quote or agreement. For an existing consumer app account, you can export your cataloged items as a spreadsheet (CSV) or a photo-backed insurance report (PDF) — your data is never locked in. Consumer app account holders can request deletion of their account and data from Settings; deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel and keep your account. For a website inquiry or service record request, contact Adam using the address below.
Where we operate
HomeHand is currently offered to customers in the United States.
Stakeholder naming vote
The optional naming poll asks for a business-name choice and a website-domain choice, without a name or email address. An essential cookie stores a random browser identifier for up to one year so we can recognize a submitted vote. We store a hash of that identifier, the two choices and the submission time in our database. After you vote, you can see combined totals; other voters cannot see your individual ballot or identifier. Clearing the cookie removes this browser's access to its saved vote and does not delete the stored ballot. Please use one browser and vote once. The poll is separate from customer accounts and household records.
